Convert WEBP to PNG and Keep the Transparency (Free)

If your WEBP has a transparent background, PNG is the conversion that keeps it. JPG is the one that destroys it.

Why not JPG

Expect a bigger file

PNG is lossless, so the file will usually be larger than the WEBP you started with — sometimes several times larger. That is the price of the format. If the size matters and you only needed PNG for compatibility, consider whether the software you are feeding it accepts WEBP after all.
