What carries the likeness

Hair shape and colour, clothing colours, glasses, a beard, a distinctive accessory. If your photo shows those clearly, the figure reads as you. If you are in a plain t-shirt with your hair tied back, it reads as a generic figure.

Head and shoulders at minimum, ideally upper body so the torso print has something to be based on. Front-facing, even light, plain background. Wear the thing you are known for — the jacket, the cap, the loud shirt.
